With hope for the morrow nestled in my heart, I descend into the slumber of to-night. Until the denouement of all coming morrows kisses me, I have then embraced the quiet death.

But this man is different. He lives and breathes in the present. In every sinking night, by every daring gamble, no vision of morrow ever graced his dreams.

His life knows not quietude. His fate yet demands him to win them all, to weather tempests, one after another... til mire enshrouds his very breath.

ABOUT

A senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department. As "Aventurine of Stratagems," one of the Ten Stonehearts, he bears a Cornerstone that grants him extra abilities and a second powerful form. Despite his seemingly superficial demeanor, he is an adept strategist who has clawed his way to his current position through wit, luck, and a penchant for playing the odds and winning high-stakes gambles that have more than once nearly cost him his life.

VISUAL

Aventurine is a man with blond hair and striking violet-blue eyes. The latter feature marks his Avgin heritage; he is said to be attractive and his eyes especially beautiful. He is typically seen in his usual suit and frequently dons a variety of jewelry—casual status symbols that hint at his wealth. He also has an alternate form that is arguably even more ostentatious, including a mask that conceals his face from view entirely.

AUDIO

Aventurine is voiced by Camden Sutkowski (English), Yang Chaoran (Chinese), Kawanishi Kengo (Japanese), and Park Jun-won (Korean). You can listen to a comparison of his lines from a cutscene here (see timestamps in video for the different voice sections). I'm accustomed to listening to his Chinese voice the most, so I will take more of my cues for my interpretation from that particular audio, but I enjoy the others as well, so I'll be studying them too!

Still kind of voice-testing Aventurine and getting a pulse for him, but I'm down for most things! I'm open to exploring things in Penacony's dreamscape, having Aventurine venture to other worlds, joining the Astral Express, etc etc—anything canon-compliant or canon-divergent is fair game! There’s such a wealth of material to explore with Penacony and other existing worlds in HSR that I’m not too interested in full-on AUs at this time though.

I'm caught up on HSR up to patch 3.0 (initial Amphoreus content), but I haven't finished all that many side quests across the different worlds, so I might miss some context if something specific to a side quest is being referenced.
